Tanzania is ready for business and looking for private sector partners to accelerate its ambitious energy development plans.
As Tanzania looks to procure new renewable energy capacity from IPPs and accelerate its gas and LNG programs, we explore how the private sector will be engaged, what procurement strategies are most suitable and why deeper dialogue between the public and private sectors is crucial to unlocking barriers going forward.
The Tanzania Energy Cooperation Summit will engage the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance, TANESCO, TPDC, EWURA, PURA and additional public sector stakeholders critical to the sector's success to present projects and private sector partnership opportunities.
The summit will open with high-level strategic presentations covering Tanzania’s energy roadmap and strategy for renewables, LNG and gas development. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions on how the public and private sectors can collaborate in effective partnerships to accelerate project development.
